Jesus in the Gospel of John (10.22-42)

Jesus continue to go to the temple where His life was in danger and teach the people 23

He had not satisfied the people with plain answers 24

He feels like He had made it abundantly clear to them through word and deed 25

He says the reason they are not getting it is because they don’t believe and the reason they don’t believe is because they are not His sheep 26-27

He gives eternal life to His sheep and no one can take them away from Him 28

He was given these sheep by the Father and no one can take them away from the Father either 29

He and the Father are one 30

He was sought to be killed again 31

He always referred to His good works as His defense 32

He retorts their arguments with the scripture 33-35

He was sanctified by the Father and sent into the world 36

He is the Son of God 36

His proof for His oneness with the Father is His works 37-38

He eluded the clutches of death again 39

He left Jerusalem because is wasn’t safe (and it wasn’t His time) 40

He was believed by many 41-42

Jesus in the Gospel of John (10.1-21)

Jesus tells the parable of the sheep and shepherd 1-5

His sheep know His voice 3

He calls them by name and He leads them 3

His sheep follow Him because they know His voice 4

He is the door for the sheep 7

He saves those who enter through Him 9

He came to give life and give it abundantly 10

He is the good shepherd and He lays down His life for the sheep 11

He is the good shepherd and He knows those who belong to Him 14

He is known by the Father and He knows the Father 15

He lays down His life for the sheep 15

He has other sheep, different sheep that will hear His voice and they will be one flock under Him 16

He is loved by the Father because He gives His life for the sheep 17

He will raise Himself from the dead 17

He lays down His life voluntarily, no one takes it way from Him 18

He once again creates division 19-21

Jesus in the Gospel of John (9.24-41)

Jesus’ righteousness was questioned by the religious leaders 24

He healed the blind man 25

He was heard by the Father 31

He was the first to heal a person born blind 32

He was from God 33

He went to find the blind man just like he went to find the cripple 35

He compels the blind man to declare his belief 35

He tells the blind man that He is the Son of Man 37

He allowed the blind man to worship Him (sign of His Deity) 38

He comes into the world to give true sight to the humble and to blind those who are proud 30
