Read Mt 6.34 – Jesus said, “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Being an ambitious visionary, I am a habitual worrywart. I have always been worried about tomorrow. What will ministry be like? Will I measure up to the task? Will I see the fruit I long to see? Will the men and women I influence reproduce Jesus in others? Worry, worry, worry. But things are changing. I guess I’ve been around Sinai enough times that I’ve learned that worrying doesn’t really help things at all. In fact it reveals a lack of faith in what God will do and an over confidence in what I can do. Are you like me and worried about tomorrow? If you are, I’m worried about you 🙂 Just kidding. Let’s obey Jesus and quit worrying about tomorrow.
